Volleyball England affiliated clubs are bound by the Volleyball England Child Protection Policy. There are some great resources on the VE website site at http://www.volleyballengland.org/about_us/safeguarding with copies of the policy and good practice. Additionally the CRB process is explained.
Volleyball England insists upon the completion of enhanced disclosures. All volunteers working with young people on a regular basis MUST hold a valid VE CRB certificate.
SportsCoachUK run a number of good workshops but VE particularly recommend Safeguarding and Protecting Children (http://www.sportscoachuk.org/workshops/workshop-search) which is a very informative and worthwhile course to attend. This course is mandatory for Volley 1-2-3 accreditation.
