2023 SW Championships 13 – 14th May Results

The SW Championships have once again provided a fitting conclusion to another great season. We have crowned our champions with Exeter Storm retaining their title in the men’s division after a comfortable 2-0 victory over Wiltshire Mavericks.

In the ladies division it was a thrilling close fought first two sets in their final and there was nothing to choose between the two teams going into a deciding 3rd set. Torexe got off to a great start and dominated the last set to regain the title after a break of a few years.

Below are the schedules, if you want your own copy to have with you over the weekend then please print and bring with you. There will be schedules on each score table and at the competition desk, but I will not have spare copies to hand out!

There will be a team brief at 9am on Saturday morning in the cafe, so please ensure that you have at least one team member up in the café for 9am.

Speedcage

We will also have the Sportway speedcage on Saturday from 9am-1pm and also on Sunday 12pm-3pm – the challenge will be that top male and female spike of the weekend will get a Sports Way goody bag – it will be free to use over the weekend.

Sportway Shop

We will also have a shop up in these times as well, which Luke and Matt will be in attendance to sell the tickets for the booze cruise on Saturday night as well as the SW Champs shirts and other items too (Shoes etc)
