Wiltshire Mavericks faced National League Div 2 side Brentwood Estonians this weekend. After a long journey of 3 hours we arrived to take on the team in Essex – the land of the fake tan !!
Right from the start we managed to take a lead through good serving and blocking. After winning the first set, Mavericks began to dominate the next set and was now 2 sets up.
During the third set we became too complacent despite leading for most of the set and allowed Estonians to win the third set. During the forth set we wanted to make this a clean finish and won 25-14.
Mavericks are now through to the next round of the cup facing Super 8 team SGTV Solent 1 on the 3rd November at Lavington School, Market Lavington.
The team consisted of Matt, Kieran, Pawel, Jay, Olivier, Timmy & myself.
