SW IRC Coach Attends the Flagship FIVB L2 Course

England’s FIVB L2 Kicks off in Kettering!

One of the FIVB’s flagship courses got under way on Monday 18 August at the Regional Volleyball Development Centre, Kettering, England.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Volleyball England’s honorary president, Richard Callicott OBE, who welcomed candidates from Bulgaria, Switzerland, Turkey, Slovakia and Hong Kong, in addition to a number of England’s top and emerging coaches: “I am delighted to welcome so many top coaches from across Europe and beyond to our Regional Volleyball Development Centre. I am sure that they will have one of the best learning experiences in their coaching careers and will make lasting contacts along the way.”

The Mayor and Mayoress of Kettering, Councillor Duncan Bain and his wife, Carole, officially welcomed the candidates to Kettering and wished them an enjoyable visit.

The course is being led by renowned US tutor, Sue Gozansky, who has taught two FIVB courses in England before. Sue is being supported by a number of Volleyball England experts in areas such as refereeing, physical training & conditioning, beach volleyball and sitting volleyball.

The course closes on Saturday 30 August.
