Torexe (White / Purple) v C&G (Red / Black)
Ladies: Cheltenham and Gloucester went into last week’s round of matches unbeaten and clear at the top of the table. Having lost to G&C in early December, second place Torexe had home advantage for the return match and took the match 3-1 and with it a slight advantage with a better sets difference record.
Also in the mix this season is Taunton Kidz who are keeping up the pressure on the top two a with 3-0 win over fourth place Bristol and a very close five set win against 10th place Petroc Beach Academy.
Men: Although top spot is currently occupied by Petroc with Gloucester Eagles just one point behind, the league is still wide open with both Kernow and Exeter Storm with games in hand over the top two.
Player Of the Match:
Players to watch out for this year so far are Kaja Jankowska (Taunton) and Laura Kulmala (RWB) in the Ladies and Haydn Lawson (Petroc) in the Men’s who head their respective tables.
