Video demonstrations from London Olympics

This is the first time teams’ pre-match warmups are included in the instructional videos

The FIVB technical and development department has announced that the first part of the technical evaluation from the London Olympic Games have been launched on the FIVB technical channel.

Video clips from the semifinal and final matches at the London Olympics, selected to help coaches and players learn the skills and drills of the world’s best teams, are now available on the FIVB Technical/Coaching website. For the first time, these include recordings of the teams’ pre-match warmups.

The clips also highlight key rallies and the different approaches of individual players and teams in specific situations. They are a preview of the material that will go into the full technical evaluation for the London Olympics now being put together by the FIVB technical evaluators’ team. As with previous events, that evaluation will provide detailed analysis of each participating team.
