Congratulations to all the teams that took part in the School Games Volleyball Competition. There were 5 girls teams and 8 boys teams. The teams were of varying standards, though all showed improvement by the end of the competition. It was good to see schools returning for the second / third year and to see particular improvement in those teams.

At the end of July I run a large outdoor volleyball tournament at South Bristol Sports Centre – BS14 9EA – the “Whitefield Volleyball Tournament” – http://whitefield.cbvc.org.uk/ . It takes place all day on July 17h and 18th featuring 140 teams from all over the country – it will give them chance to see some really good volleyball if they came. We would also welcome any willing volunteers.
