We are delighted to announce that Volleyball England has additional funding to install Wall Net Sliders for clubs offering recreational playing opportunities to players aged 16 years plus, who are looking to play or are playing in local league and wish to grow their overall numbers of players aged 16 plus.

Due to conditions of the funding we have tight deadlines, equipment is to be installed by the 31^st March 2017.

Applications are now open, where we would very much like you to apply for this equipment grant. The strict deadline for applications to be returned to Volleyball England with supporting documents and photos as detailed in the attached paperwork is Friday 10th February 2017.

In order to be considered for the funding you will need to complete the Wall Net Slider Application Form ensuring all areas of the Criteria are complete. Please Note; that if your application is successful you will be requested to forward a Purchase Order for £200.00 inc VAT for partner funding against the £820.00 inc VAT equipment and installation costs before installation can take place.

The organization of the XVIII Summer Cup 2017 has the pleasure of inviting your prestigious team to participate in the 18th edition of this International Tournament of Volleyball.

This event takes place between July 5st – July 9th 2017 in Vila da Lousã – Portugal (located about 28 km from Coimbra) .

The tournament is aimed to teams from the following age groups:
•     Under 14 (“Infantis”) boys and girls: born in 2003 and after;
•     Under 15 (“Iniciados”) boys and girls: born in 2002 and after;
•     Under 16 (“Cadetes”) boys and girls: born in 2001 and after;
•     Under 18 (“Juvenis”) boys and girls: born in 1999/2000 and after.

Main Goals:
a) To extend the 2016/2017 season, thus encouraging the teams to continue training after the standard season.
b) To mark the end of the season with a tournament, where the parties and the moments of fraternization between the teams are a constant, and which give this event unique features of festive atmosphere.
c) Gather the family of European/ International youth volleyball in Lousã and adjacent municipalities.
d) Equally, this event allows the coaches to test the teams and the players of the 2017/2018 season. This means that the teams may also bring some younger players (born in 2004).
