High Peaks Open Trials

If you are, or know an aspiring young volleyball player, Volleyball England are running trials for the opportunity to be selected as part of the England National Junior Programme.
Trials are taking place at High Peaks on the weekend of the 26th/27th July 2014 at the National Volleyball Centre, Athletes will need to register their attendance through the registration form which can be found on the High Peaks page

The deadline for registration is Friday the 4th July 2014

Boys – Saturday 26th July
requirements are that athletes are born between 1st January 1997 and 1st January 2000 and hold a valid British passport
Girls – Sunday 27th July
requirements are that athletes are born between 1st January 1998 and 1st January 2001 and hold a valid British passport

The cost for the day is £10, with lunch being provided (further details on payment as well as schedule will be provided at a later date once registrations are received)

Athletes that are selected will enter into the Volleyball England talent pathway which includes, attending junior or cadet national team camps held throughout the year at the National Volleyball Centre. This provides the opportunity to be selected to represent England for a number of events, such as NEVZA, UK School Games and CEV age group competitions.
Athletes will experience regular coaching by national team coaches and gain to access the national team elite athlete education programme.
