NatWest Island Games – 150 days to go

jersey_Kidsvolleyball

The ways in which Jersey 2015 will leave a legacy are being explored by the Sports Development Department. It’s hoped that, by getting people – particularly young people – involved, they will become actively engaged and continue in the sports long after the Games have ended. So far, discussions are most advanced with volleyball and shooting.

Volleyball may be promoted in secondary schools and colleges, who could provide ballgirls and boys and line judges at both indoor and beach volleyball.  From: www.jersey2015.com

A total of 11 islands will be represented in volleyball and 9 in beach volleyball, at Jersey 2015. See the full list at http://www.jersey2015.com/sports/volleyball–amp–beach-volleyball
