Sat in the sports hall all on my own in the morning, my noise metre recorded a noise level of 53 dB’s. [Quiet / Light Auto Traffic / urban daytime]
Once the action started it maxed out at 102 dB’s for the women and 100 dB’s for the Men. [B-747-200 Takeoff / Blow Dryer / Helicopter / Chain Saw / Subway Train].
FYI The event hooter is regulated at 100 dB’s (a noise safety requirement)
Out side, in the picnic and sun bathing area, it was much quieter.
Finding that deliberate mistake on the results table (we always put one in just to keep teams on their toes).
Court one action
Too many trophies to hold, it was a full collection this year for the Plymouth Marjon girls. SW Champions and SW League Champions.
Plenty of people checking the on line results page during the tournament. Over 300 page hits during the event.
