The SW Beach team took on Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the South East and an All-England team at the Junior Commonwealth Cup this weekend, and we very nearly won it all!
Just a couple of points short in both finals but with two second place finishes, the top team at this years event, ahead of Ireland in second and Scotland in third. A fantastic result for everyone involved, and Silver Medals for everyone to take home.
Well done to Ekin Ozerciyes, Alexia Morosanu, Heidi Bright, Katie Tuohey, Mattie Tildesley, Rob Morgan, Tom Lycett & Harry Brett plus the coaching team of Flo, Dave & Dan who keep everyone fed, watered, and shaded throughout an extremely hot weekend of beach volleyball.
Plus, the Spirt of the Tournament Award for being a great bunch of players and helping out to keep the whole event running smoothly.
