Volleyball England Foundation launches

The Volleyball England Foundation has launched a new website to support the charity’s aim to support anyone to play volleyball, from any background and community, no matter what age, shape or ability.

As part of a 12 month period of renewal for the Foundation, Chair Simone Turner has been working to develop the site. She said: “We know that to promote and share the good work being done by the Foundation and encourage donations, we need to increase our presence; the website will allow us to do this.”

Company Secretary Janet Inman added: “We exist to support everyone and anyone to take part and enjoy volleyball at whatever level you want to play and whether standing or sitting, indoor or outside. We want as many people as possible to experience this amazing sport, either as participants or spectators. We want to support individuals to reach their full potential, whether that is at grassroots or wearing an England or GB shirt.”

Previously the Foundation has supported individuals on the performance pathway, providing resource to enable them to train and compete at the highest level. It has also been pivotal in the development of the sitting programme and Grand Prix, an area of the sport that has grown dramatically over the last 5 years and continues to develop.

The Foundation has a shared vision and mission with Volleyball England and with your support the Foundation can continue to develop projects, programmes and campaigns with a diverse range of partners to engage individuals and teams in our exciting, fun and inclusive sport.
