South Devon College has been successful in it’s resent application for £185 to run a young official’s course for 16 candidates from the SWVA. The course will run during the summer term to learners enrolled on first year sports courses.
The successful candidates will then assist with the development of volleyball within the college setting, volleyball competitions and the development of a college volleyball club.
South Devon College (previously Paignton school / Community College) has a history of volleyball and were SW Men’s League Winners in 1979/80, from 2000 to 2006 they ran upto three teams in the Exeter & District league, with Paignton CC A winning the division two title in 2004/5.
