It was Silver for Southwest’s Rob Morgan (left) at this year’s 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinbago, along with partner Pete Soczewka. After making it through the event with victories against Australia and New Zealand they were unable to secure the title, which went to the Canadian pairing of Oliver Toomes and Andon Kiriakou.
Rob, from the Academy of Beach Sports Croyde, has been playing beach for many years and last years helped the regional to secure the U19 Regional Beach team trophy against Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland.
