2013 Peninsula Coaching Development Day

Sunday 21st April at UCP Marjon, Plymouth

We are delighted to announce the launch of the 2013 Peninsula Coaching Development Day which supports the development of sports coaches, PE teachers, physical activity instructors and HE students and lecturers working with the with the athletes and players at all stages of the participant pathway in the South West.

The day kicks off with an inspirational Key Note address from Jason Lee, Great Britain and England Hockey Senior Men’s Head Coach, which promises to provide coaches with an insight into the player to coach transition, the high and lows of coaching at the elite level, including some behind the scenes experience from the 2012 Olympics.

In addition to this there are 20 practical workshops and interactive seminars, including sport-specific workshops from Judo, Hockey, Rowing Run England and Rugby Union,  all of which are being delivered by high quality coaches and coach educators working in the South West and the opportunity to network with other sports coaches.

We are offering a discounted EARLY BIRD rate of £30 to the end of January 2013, thereafter the Delegate Fee will increase to £35. If you are a current HE student or lecturer you will qualify for the £20 rate.
