This has been made possible with Commonwealth Games 2022 legacy funding. The Junior course focuses on 3v3 and 4v4 volleyball, leading into 6v6, for players between the ages of 12 and 18-years-old.
The funded places are for coaches in clubs with a growing junior sections or clubs that enter teams in national or regional competitions. Participants will learn how to teach the volleyball fundamentals and understand the tactical progressions in small-sided games, underpinning player development and enabling them to qualify to coach on their own.
The course residential will be held on 16th and 17th September in Northampton. Included in the course costs are bed, breakfast, and evening meal on Saturday 16th September.
The course dates are:
- 19th July – webinar 1 – 7.30 to 9pm
- 7th September – webinar 2 – 7.30 to 9pm
- 16th and 17th September – residential – 10am to 8pm and 9am to 5pm
