Hudl – Performance Analysis Platform

Volleyball England is delighted to have agreed a four-year partnership with performance analysis platform Hudl. It will enable Super League teams and England National Teams to analyse, track and share video and data to elevate their understanding of performance.

Clubs will also be able to upload video highlights for viewing across Volleyball England’s YouTube and social media channels, as well as their own platforms.

The partnership will also include a platform for referee assessment, development and pathway progression, while Volleyball England will have access to a number of Hudl products, including League Exchange, Hudl Assist and VolleyMetrics.

“The introduction of Hudl across our Super League, National Teams and referee development will provide a much-needed boost in terms of analytics and how we then use the data for performance, marketing and communication gains,” said Volleyball England’s Chief Executive Officer, Charlie Ford.

“Importantly, our partnership includes initial and continual education and support from Hudl, ensuring we optimise every opportunity that their system and products allow.”

More than 200,000 teams across 40 different sports already use Hudl to capture and analyse video and data. Every product, feature and tool is designed to ensure coaches and athletes can make every moment count.

Sam Lloyd, Senior Vice President for Elite Sports at Hudl, said: “We are proud to work with Volleyball England, enabling teams to analyse, track and share video and data to elevate their understanding of performance.

“Our solutions, Volleymetrics and Hudl Assist, will help coaches and athletes gain access to in-depth data from both sides of the net, and our League Exchange solution will democratise access to video, further enhancing the teams’ competitive advantage without the need for dedicated resources.”

Super League clubs will shortly be given training on how to access and use the platform ahead of the new season starting in October.
