Volleyball England is pleased to announce that the CEV DataVolley Seminar will take place from the 26th – 27th April 2014 at FIVB/CEV Regional Volleyball Development Centre – Kettering (ENG) alongside the national Super 8 League play-off finals.
About the Seminar
There is a small line between winning and losing. In a competitive world it’s easy to lose track of the key factors that allow you to prevail on your opponent. Data Volley is the volleyball statistical software that helps you scout and analyze all game situations to always have the winning tools by your side.
The 2 day seminar will cover all aspects of the software and will be delivered by one of the DataVolley developers. By the end of the course you will receive comprehensive knowledge of the software and be able to understand the application of the statistics to team performance, tactics and training.
Whether you are a head coach, assistant coach or a statistician, the seminar will be extremely useful and will develop your understanding of the most widely used statistics software in Volleyball.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be provided by our partner Holiday Inn Express, a modern hotel set in landscaped gardens. Free Wi-Fi is available and a generous breakfast of cereals, pastries and fruit served each morning. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, Flat-screen TV, free tea and coffee and full air-conditioning.
Location
The course will take place in the FIVB/CEV Regional Volleyball Development Centre – Kettering (ENG). This facility is centred around Kettering Conference Centre’s main sports arena. The centre provides top class sports facilities for International athletes and both international and domestic competitions.
The main arena has four volleyball courts and offers a wide range of additional facilities. There are a number of dining/bar areas situated around the complex.
The venue also has an on site gym and swimming pool available for public usage.
