Stewart Dunne Appointed as New Chief Operating Officer

The Board of Volleyball England are delighted to announce the appointment of Stewart Dunne to the new role of Chief Operating Officer.

Stewart brings with him a wealth of experience from previous roles both commercially and within Volleyball. Recently retuned to the UK where he acted as Development Coordinator for the European Volleyball Confederation and prior to that as Volleyball Competition Manager for the London 2012 Olympics Stewart is delighted to be again working to further develop the sports of Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Sitting Volleyball throughout England.

Volleyball England President Keith Nicholls commented “I am particularly pleased to welcome Stewart to the team as we strive to deliver our challenging goals for the next decade and make the team sports of Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Sitting Volleyball the fastest growing participation sports in England. I know he will bring not only professionalism but a renewed energy and focus as he has shown in his past roles, both professionally and in his life-long career hobby of Volleyball”

Joining the Volleyball England team based in Loughborough is a fantastic opportunity, and one that I am very pleased to accept”said Stewart.

“I look forward to joining Chief Executive Janet Inman in leading the Loughborough based team to support Volleyball England vision for the future of our sport. The team in Loughborough does not simply provide administrative support but is a knowledge based service-centre,focused on improving standards and delivering excellence for all in the Volleyball family.”
