A quick behind the scenes look at this year’s event…….
It’s always an early start for our event volunteers and a very quiet one with an empty four court venue. However, that does not last long as the piece and quiet is broken by the first of the competitors rolling up.
Sunday morning breakfast (bacon, sausage & egg bap) is always popular for those who are not involved in the first round of matches.
A couple of new additions this year, the Sports Way shop and Speed Cage.
I did hear 56 mph…
As always the event is followed by the SWVA Championships and league presentations.
Although teams line up for their “Official” team photo with their trophies, the selfie afterwards is always more fun.
