England’s top beach volleyball talent take to the sand!
The Volleyball England Beach Tour (VEBT) returns in June this year with Skegness playing host to the first event of the Tour on 15th-16th June. We then head south east to Great Yarmouth two weeks later on 28th-29th June before visting the sands of Weston-super-Mare on 12th-13th July. A short break follows before Weymouth host the penultimate leg of the Tour over the first weekend of August (1st-3rd), with the Finals in Margate on the 16th-17th August.
The VEBT provides an opportunity to watch top class volleyball players battle it out to become the National Beach Volleyball Champions of 2014. Lisa Wainwright, Chief Executive of Volleyball England, said: “We are committed to raising the profile of volleyball through events such as the Beach Tour and hope to inspire and encourage more people to play, watch and take part in the sport. We would also like to welome and thank itsu, our official partner of the Volleyball England Beach Tour. We would like to thank them for their support in helping us to promote beach volleyball and inspire more people to get invovled.”

Players for the senior and junior tour will be able to enter from the 16th April 2014 via the Volleyball England website.
